DFMRT’s base at Foxfield and the vehicles it uses to reach and carry casualties.

DFMRT has its base at Foxfield, near Broughton in Furness, from where most of its training and callouts are run.

The team has two Land Rover Defenders and a nine-seater Ford Transit. DFMRT says all three vehicles are able to carry a stretchered casualty to a point of transfer to an Ambulance Service vehicle.
