About DFMRT
In the community
Talks, base visits, and the local shows and events we attend and marshal.
Our members regularly give talks about the team and its work to schools, clubs and societies. We host visits to the base by youth groups, and we are usually at the Millom and Broughton Show as well as occasional one-off large events in our area.
We marshal the Fred Whitton Cycle Challenge, the Keswick-to-Barrow Walk and fell races in our area. At these events we only provide medical assistance when called out by the Police following a 999 call.
